Short Bio

Nore De Grez

Iris graduated in 2018 as Master of Educational Sciences at Ghent University. In October 2018, she starts as a PhD researcher under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bram De Wever and Dr. Michiel Voet at the department of Educational Studies at Ghent University.

Her PhD project focuses on the impact of an inquiry-based history curriculum on students and teachers. More specifically, the research objective is to investigate the impact of the curriculum on students' historical reasoning ability and motivation to study history, and to explore the impact of the curriculum on teachers' educational beliefs and post-intervention instruction.
