Short Bio

Lieselot Declercq

Lieselot has over 14 years of experience in various sectors of education. During her career as a teacher, she obtained a Msc in educational sciences from the Open University of the Netherlands and a Msc in educational sciences from Ghent University. She followed a BaNaBa care at Artevelde University College and marketing new technologies at Ghent University. She is trained for policy positions, DHOS and digital transformation training at Vlerick. She has experience as a blended learning officer at Ghent University within the quality assurance service. Lieselot has experience in education management, as a teaching assistant and conducted OBPWO research on behalf of Ghent University, UA and the Flemish government. She recently obtained a certificate ‘e-learning design lab’ at ITCILO. She is also industrial promoter for Maaike Grammens' Baekeland mandate on synchronous online teaching. She is a working student for the Master of International Relations and Diplomacy at UA. Lieselot is a voluntary PhD-student with the topic of ‘hybrid learning networks for professional development for online teachers’ at Ghent University. Prof. Dr. Bram De Wever and Prof. Dr. Melissa Tuytens are her supervisors. Lieselot is founder and director of d-teach (www.d-teach.com)
